I fight the elephants upon my eyelids forcing myself to brush them off as easily as dust skids off a road. Stuck on my side, I cannot move facing the midnight blue that you’ve carefully planted cobalt and azure enchanted. Breath halts in my throat like a peanut not swallowed I’m stuck between now and tomorrow. Yet I see your hazy glow a floating orb, I dunno. But you’re radiant and my knight a true summer’s delight in the midst of Jack Frost’s grip my lips ice. It’s unfortunate that I’m an edelweiss destined to be short-lived yet eternally bound but how? How can both be true at once? When we outgrew what was once a dream; it's now just a stitch torn from the seam a piece of fabric flowing with wind’s feathery breath blowing and mother nature’s cotton hug capturing what’s left of the torn and broken and unplugged. I taste salt and feel my cheeks become paths for rivers my fingers quiver as I reach out hoping to grasp your … I burnout hand falling far down. The elephants are back in a bizarre type of way. Nothing makes sense to quite say I refuse to confuse that you’ve been gone. You’re past your end. But now is just my beginning with you to send An eternal love letter.
Thanks so much for reading, as always :) see ya next time.
